After Michael received his Creative Writing degree, he arrived in Hollywood and quickly established his taste and a keen eye for compelling stories which landed him a position as a Development Associate for a prominent film producer.

​Michael then went to Miramax Films where he worked on  Academy-Award winning and nominated films.  After a hiatus from the entertainment business, he realized his calling was to tell stories through the visual arts. He became an independent producer and started Miantri Films to help other creatives do the same. He produced the independent film, The Throwback, which received theatrical distribution in 2024. He is currently in development on a variety of Feature Films and a TV Series project.
